Training lab notes

Seven short ways to test a response.

Reflex Room is a focused suite of seven browser exercises covering visual reaction, directional choice, response inhibition, peripheral awareness, rapid clicking, target acquisition, and Stroop interference. Each session reports the metrics that fit its task, including median speed, accuracy, click rate, and consistency.

Median speedAccuracyConsistency

Measured in the room

  • Seven focused speed and attention tests

  • Randomized cues and false-start detection

  • Task-specific speed, accuracy, and consistency results

  • Private on-device session history

Session protocol

  1. Choose the reaction skill you want to test.

  2. Follow the short input instruction and complete every round.

  3. Review the session result or repeat the same test to compare.

Lab notes

Why does Reflex Room use a median result?

A median is less distorted by one unusually slow or fast round, so it gives a useful center for a short reaction session.

Can browser reaction tests measure only human reflexes?

No. Display refresh, browser scheduling, input devices, and system latency also affect the number. Compare results on the same setup for the most useful trend.
