Whimera is a small directory operated by one person. Trust comes from visible sources, limited claims, and clear commercial labels—not a promise that every listed product was personally tested.
Listing policy
Whimera focuses on small browser-based apps, useful tools, games, and digital experiments that can be opened from a public URL.
A listing may be excluded or archived when it:
- has no usable public web experience or clear purpose;
- uses deceptive claims, impersonation, malware, or abusive patterns;
- is a duplicate, thin affiliate page, placeholder, or unavailable product;
- cannot be described accurately from an attributable source.
Inclusion is editorial and may change as the directory develops. A listing is not an endorsement.
Information sources
- Whimera Original
- Built and maintained by Whimera. This label is never used for third-party products.
- Creator-provided
- Submitted by a creator or authorized representative. These facts are attributed, not treated as independently verified.
- Public metadata
- Taken from a product's public website or documentation, with the source linked on its listing.
- Automated observation
- A narrow machine check such as whether a public URL responds. It does not establish safety, quality, or privacy.
- Community report
- A correction or status report from a visitor. It remains attributed until the underlying listing is updated.
Corrections
Known facts can become outdated. Each correction should identify the listing, the field that is wrong, the proposed value, and a public source where possible.
Each third-party listing links to a local correction draft builder. Validation and JSON generation happen in the browser; nothing is sent or stored until a durable public queue is intentionally opened.

Commercial disclosure
Organic listings and Whimera Originals are separate from paid placement. If sponsorships, affiliate links, or paid launch services are introduced, they will be labelled beside the relevant link or placement.
